CSIR NPL Technician Eligibility Criteria
| Educational Qualification |
| SSC/ 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or national/ state trade certificate in relevant Trade. OR |
| SSC /10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized institution in the relevant Trade OR |
| SSC /10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in the relevant Trade in a Ministry/ Department/ Organisation/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Body under Government of India/ State/ UT. |

| Interested candidates may apply in prescribed application form should be downloaded from NPL website www.nplindia.org. supported by self attested copies of all relevant documents and demand draft and sent in an envelope superscribing “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TECHNICIAN(1) – (Post Code No. )” by post to The Controller of Administration, CSIR- National Physical Laboratory, Dr. K.S. Krishnan Marg, New Delhi-110012 so as to reach on or before 03.07.2022. NOTE: The following details must be filled up on back side of Demand Draft (i) Candidate’s Name (ii) Post Code Applied for |
FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE ATTACHED ALONG WITH APPLICATION FORM SENT BY POST
- Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- as application fee wherever applicable in favour of Director, National Physical Laboratory Payable at New Delhi. Personal details (i.e. name & post code) should be mentioned on the back of the Demand Draft.
- Recent passport size color photograph pasted on the application form (Part-I) and signed across in full. Synopsis (Part-I) duly filled up by the candidate with signature.
- Recent passport size colour photograph pasted on the Part-III of the application form. Not to be signed across on photograph.
- Self-Attested photocopy of Date of Birth certificate.
- Self-Attested photocopies of educational qualification certificates.
- Self-Attested photocopy of caste certificate, if applicable.
- Self-Attested photocopies of experience certificates, if any.
- Self-Attested photocopy of certificate EWS/ PwBD/ Women seeking relaxation/ Ex-Serviceman/ Transgender, if applicable.
- Self-Attested photocopy of other relevant documents, if any.
CSIR NPL Technician Selection Process
| The duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates. The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for a trade test. Those who qualify in the trade test will be invited for competitive written examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination. |
